At Gootchie Creek Escape our aim is for kids (and adults) to enjoy the outdoors and be technology free for few days while they explore the creek, swim in the billabong, ride their bikes, or watch the turtles and platypus swim.
Canoeing & Paddleboarding
Bring along your own canoe or paddleboard and explore the scenic billabong. Enjoy a peaceful paddle while taking in the stunning views and wildlife that surround you.
Swimming
Splash into our large spring-fed billabong, complete with a pontoon for easy access to the water. It's the perfect spot to cool off and relax on a warm day.
Horse Riding
Bring your own horse and discover our trails designed for horseback riding. Experience the beauty of nature from a unique vantage point as you ride through our expansive grounds.
Bike Riding
With over 600 acres to explore, our bike tracks offer a fantastic way to experience the great outdoors. Bring your bike and traverse scenic paths suitable for all skill levels.
Camp Fires
Fire pits are available for your use and fire wood is for sale in the Kiosk. We do ask that you DO NOT create a new fire on the ground, use pits provided at all times to reduce the risk of fires getting out of control. You must not enter neighbouring private properties to collect wood. Fires are permitted but must be restricted to the fire pits provided. If you don’t have a fire pit, you cannot light a fire on the ground as this is a bush fire hazard. Chainsaws are strictly prohibited.
